As a part of the program of the DEGA Akademie 2006, Emad El-Saghir taught an EASE Class on 9th and 10th March, 2006 in Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule (RWTH) in Aachen, Germany.
About fifty participants from Germany, Austria and Switzerland, all with PCs equipped with the latest version of EASE, were introduced to the program features and capabilities, and worked out examples.
Prior to the EASE Class and over four days of sessions, fundamentals of acoustics, sound reinforcement and simulation concepts, specially ray tracing, were explained by a number of speakers including Professor Dr. Michael Vorländer and his team of the Institute of Technical Acoustics in Aachen.
