History
Acoustic Design Ahnert Limited is a limited liability company with a common German-Egyptian capital, based in Cairo, Egypt. The German shareholder is Professor Dr. Wolfgang Ahnert, the founder of the well-known German engineering office ADA Acoustic Design Ahnert in Berlin, Germany, and the pioneer of sound reinforcement engineering, who introduced to the world today’s standard-setting acoustical simulator EASE, and contributed to the field with numerous books, articles, seminars and workshops.

Professor Ahnert has founded this company with his Egyptian partner to provide a wide spectrum of services to the markets of the Middle East, Africa and Europe.
Range of Services
This spectrum of services is intended to cover six main tracks:

Room and building acoustical analyses and treatments;

System integration services including audiovisual systems (sound reinforcement, video projection, conference, etc.), security systems (CCTV, burglar alarm, etc.) and residential systems (home theatre, home automation, etc.);

Sales and support of the programs EASE/EASERA;

Audio and acoustical field measurements;

Training and education including classes for EASE/EASERA, sound system engineering as well as audio and acoustical field measurements;

Acoustical laboratory for measuring acoustical properties of materials.
In doing so, the partners are establishing a dedicated and prompt customer support thanks to a maximum time difference of two hours between Cairo and central Europe, as well as between Cairo and Dubai. In addition to enjoying the culture and history of Egypt, the participants of our classes and training courses will appreciate the convenience of our location, where Cairo is only four-hour-flight distant from the heart of Europe or the west coast of the Persian Gulf.
The capability of our staff to communicate in Arabic, English and German makes our services smoothly available for a wider customer base.
Affiliation
ADA Limited is affiliated to a number of other organizations, which makes it possible to provide complete project management packages. In this regard, we can offer;

Designing the conceptual system structure and the interfaces necessary to integrate it with other systems;

Selecting the proper components, which fulfil the system objectives and the applicable standards, using the state-of-the-art simulation/auralization programs;

Planning of the execution phase including bills of quantities, time schedules, drawings for equipment interconnection, racks assemblage, cable runs, termination, labelling, etc;

Providing on-site supervision of the execution phase to insure smooth, on-time, as-planned progress of installation;

Performing final field set-up/measurement using latest computerized, highly calibrated measurement tools;

Offering support during final system commissioning and handing over to the client;

Preparing system documentation and as-built drawings;

Conducting training in system set-up, operation and preventive maintenance for the client’s personnel.
